Interests of non-Bodos should be protected

GUWAHATI, Feb 12 ?The Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad has called upon the Bodo leadership of the State to ensure that the non-Bodos living in the BTC area do not lag behind the Bodos in terms of rights and development.

In a press release, AJYCP president Apurba Kumar Bhattacharya and general secretary Dilip Shankar Saikia said it was the duty of the Bodo leadership to allay the fears of the non-Bodos living in the BTC area arising out of the signing of the Bodo Accord on February 10.

BLT to seek public opinion at ABSU meet

KOKRAJHAR, Feb 12 ? The leadership of Bodoland Liberation Tiger (BLT) has decided to seek public opinion on the composition of the interim Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) in the forthcoming conference of All Bodo Students Union (ABSU). Arunachal concern over Chinese action on border
