5 BSF men killed in Manipur ambush

IMPHAL, Feb 10? In a major ambush carried out by an underground group operating in this border State, five Border Security Force (BSF) personnel were killed near Lokchao along Imphal-Moreh highway in the Chandel district today. The incident took place near Moyonkhullen, 3km from Lokchao towards border town Moreh when well-armed underground militants attacked a BSF patrol around 9 am today. Non-Bodo organisations to launch stir

GUWAHATI, Feb 10 ? The signing of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) agreement among the Bodo Liberation Tiger (BLT), Central government and the State Government is set to mark the beginning of an intensive agitation by non-Bodo organisations in Lower Assam. 234 candidates in Nagaland poll fray

DIMAPUR, Feb 10 ? The pre-election process in Nagaland has reached its last stages with the last date for filing of nomination expiring Friday. The scrutiny, which was done on Saturday, revealed a total of 234 candidates who have filed their nominations for the 10th Nagaland Legislative Assembly Polls scheduled for February 26 next. None of the nominations were either rejected or disqualified.
