Laldenga's widow nominated for RS seat

AIZAWL, June 28 ? In a dramatic political development, the opposition Congress and the Mizoram People?s Conference MPC decided to jointly nominate Lalbiakdiki, widow of former Chief Minister and underground leader, Laldenga, for the lone Rajya Sabha seat from Mizoram, reports PTI. Abducted police officer's body recovered in Manipur

IMPHAL, June 27?The bullet riddled body of kidnapped police officer Chanam Arunkumar Singh, has been found at Selmat village area in Manipur?s Churanchandpur district, official sources said today, reports PTI. Singh (36), a sub-Inspector of Churachandpur police station had been kidnapped by suspected militants of Kuki National Front (KNF) from Tuibon area near his office on July 21.
