Lapang stakes claim in Meghalaya

Bodo Accord may not bring peace

GUWAHATI, March 2 — The signing of the Memorandum of Settlement (MoS) by the Union and State Governments with the Bodo Liberation Tigers (BLT) may not bring back the long-awaited peace and normalcy to the proposed Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) areas. Democratic Alliance set to form Nagaland govt

KOHIMA, March 2 — The Democratic Alliance of Nagaland is all set to form a coalition government in the state having received the support of four Independent MLAs,which take their strength to 33 in the 60-member House, reports PTI. Alliance with INPT was a blunder: Cong

AGARTALA, March 2 – The result of assembly elections in Tripura has made it clear that people of the state did not accept the Congress-Indigenous Nationalist Party of Tripura (INPT) alliance, allegedly backed by the banned National Liberation Front of Tripura.
