Snag in Indo-Myanmar border trade

MOREH, March 22 – Though, the Centre has given the go ahead for promotion of Indo-Myanmar bilateral trade and agreed in principle for construction of a Food and Civil Supply godown at Moreh, India’s gateway to the south east Asian countries, the cash strapped Manipur government is unable to translate it into action.

Bid to end differences between Manipur NCP factions

Clan sacrifices leopard at Meghalaya fest

Shillong, March 21: The sacrifice of a leopard in Nongtaleng village of Jaintia Hills district today has brought a minister in the D.D. Lapang government as well as an entire community under a cloud. The forest department is probing the incident.

No fresh talk feelers from Delhi, says NSCN-K

Kohima, March 21: The Khaplang faction of the NSCN today clarified that it had not received any fresh feelers for parleys from New Delhi, as reported in the media, though it has been receiving such proposals since the Nineties.
