Centre’s reservations over Mizoram referral hospital

AIZAWL, March 31— On the seventh sitting of the Mizoram Assembly recently, Health Minister F. Malsawma told the House that the central government had some reservations against the proposed Referral Hospital as a result of which the centre had asked the state government to start the hospital with 50 beds.

Sundays to be dry days in Meghalaya from April

SHILLONG, March 31— Meghalaya government has decided to declare Sunday as dry day from April, when sale of foreign liquors and country spirits would be banned and bonded warehouses would be closed.

NLFT in serious crisis after rebels draw blood

AGARTALA, March 31— Banned militant organisation NLFT is facing serious crisis following a fierce clash between two groups in Bangladesh camp. NEEPCO to regulate power supply to Tripura from April 3

AGARTALA, March 30—Darkness looms large over the state following NEEPCO’s decision to ‘regulate’ power supply to the electricity department from April 3 next. The ‘Regulation of power supply’ in straight words means ‘stoppage or at least drastic reduction of power supply’.
